A Possible Treatment for Depression

Neurolinguistic Programming, as developed by Bandler and Grinder is a form of cogntive programming theory which can be used to achieve varioius results in the human consciousness of a person. The psychistric disorder of Depression is typically thought to be caused by a brain chemistry imbalance invovling dopamine levels. However, Dr. Larry Dossey has proven in his academic scholarship that there is a Mind-Body connection in human beings. Dossey proved, for example that prayer can have a postive effect on the recovery of heart surgery patients. I have developed a meditation mantra which can be used to help reduce the emotional effects of Major Depression. The use of this neurolinguistic program in the consciousness of a person forms a cogntive brain linkage which can help to replace depression with a mild state of emotional pleasure. This treatment should be used in conjunction with the more conventional treatment of a psychologist or psychiatrist or medical doctor.
It is suggested that the person suffering from depression meditate by saying the following mantra or program for 20 minutes, three times a day:

"I find pleasure in depression."

Good Luck!
